Board of Study in Agricultural Engineering offers three postgraduate degree programmes; Agricultural and Bio-systems Engineering, Integrated Water Resources Management and Geo-Informatics. In these, students can register for M.Sc, M.phil and Ph.D. degrees by course work and research or M.phil and Ph.D. by research. The Board attracts students from diverse set of disciplines including Agriculture, Engineering, Basic and Natural sciences, Geography, Geology, Surveying, Geomatics etc. Postgraduate research interests of the Board include interdisciplinary research in Water Resources Management, Postharvest Technology and Agricultural Process Engineering, Energy and Waste Management, Farm Power and Machinery, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing. The degree programmes in the Board are supported by the corporate sector and international and regional network projects. At present, there are about 70 students following the three postgraduate programmes under the Board of Study.
