 Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo invites applications for the above course. This course attempt to give a broad overview of health and issues related to health.A special feature of the course is its emphasis towards development aspects of health.In order to  achieve this objective the entire course curriculum has been designed using a multidisciplinary approach.  The present curriculum has been prepared from the experience gained from the previous course.

The Course is specially aimed at those who are working in health and health related areas in the public.private, or non-profit making organizations.

Entry Requirement:
a)  1. A first degree from a recognized university, or
     2.  A professional qualification and experience of at least one year in a health related field,which is acceptable to the university.

b)   A professional qualification and experience of at least one year in a health related field,which is acceptable to the university.

Cource Fee:

Course Fee :       Rs:50,0000/=

Duration:
             12 months (Weekends -Saturdays 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.)

Master In Science/ post graduate diploma (MSc in applied organic chemistry)

Applications are invited for the above Masters of Science Degree/Postgraduate Diploma commencing in February 2011.

Duration: 18-24 months

Composition of the Course

Part A: Lectures and practical [on Fridays (5 -7 pm) and Saturdays (8 am – 6 pm)]
Two courses will be delivered on-line

Part B: Research project of eight months duration (full time)

The graduates who offered Chemistry as a subject for their B.Sc. Degree or who possess equivalent qualifications are eligible to apply. The selection will be on the basis of an interview.

Applications are invited  from those with suitable qualification for admission to the above course in the Department  of Architecture for the Academic year 2010/2011

The Applicants should posses the BSc (Built Environment) Degree of the university of Moratuwa
or
Any other recognized first degree in Architecture considered equivalent to BSc (Built Environment) Degree of the university of Moratuwa
And
Should have completed the minimum acceptable period(52 weeks) of practical experience by 30 th Octomber 2010. Genereally pracitcal experience counted only after obtaining the first degree.However,those who have passed CDP and failed in one subject , and has fulfilled practical training requirement, also may be considered for admission.

     M.A. in Language Studies:
     A  Special Degree with a class in Pali,Sanskit or Sinhala from a recognized university or one year M.A. Degree in Pali,Buddhist Culture,Buddhist Philosophy from a  recognized University


2) A First class or Second Class Upper Division in a general degree obtained from a recognized university with at least the subject that you wish to study in the two year M.A. Degree cource


3)A qualification considered equivalent to the above (1) or (2) which is accepted by the Senate of the University
