Eligibility Criteria :
1. a) A Bachelor's Degree in social sciences, humanities, management, natural sciences, agriculture, engineering, health sciences or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution
OR
b) A Diploma or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution with five years’ work experience in a relevant field
OR
c) Other special qualification approved by the Higher Degrees Committee of the Faculty of Arts.
AND
2. Competency in English Language Skills.
Closing date for applications extended to 31st July 2011.
The first MDP cohort is expected to start in August 2011.

Application forms, guidelines and pay-in voucher can be obtained by sending a bank receipt for Rs. 1000/= payable to Account No 0001274686 of Bank of Ceylon at any branch, with a self-addressed Rs. 15/= stamped envelopes to Assistant Registrar, Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya, Peradeniya 20400.
* Obtaining the application form in person:
Application forms, guidelines and pay-in voucher can be obtained in person from the Postgraduate Unit, Faculty of Arts, on production of a bank receipt for Rs. 1000/= payable to Account No 0001274686 of Bank of Ceylon at any branch.
2. Complete the application form, following the instructions in the provided guidelines.
3. If you obtained the application form electronically, please do the following, if not, please go to the next step.Complete pay-in voucher and pay registration fee of Rs. 1000 at any branch of the Bank of Ceylon Account No 0001274686 of Bank of Ceylon, obtain bank receipt.
4. Mail completed application form and accompanying documents (and originals of pay-in voucher and bank receipt/deposit if you obtained the application electronically) along with three self-addressed Rs. 15/= stamped envelopes by registered post to
