Entry Qualifications :
1. NVQ Level 5 or NVQ Level 6 qualification in the relevant technology area as specified above
or
2. HNDE,NDT,NDES,NDET, NDICT in the relevant technology area which is acceptable to the academic council of the UNIVOTEC
or
3. Any other qualification which the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission has accepted as deemed to be equivalent to NVQ level 5 or 6 (the candidate has to submit written documentation issued by the TVEC as evidence with the application)
Preference will be given to those applicants having post diploma industrial experience of at least 1 year duration
Degree programmes will be conducted on full-time basis from Monday to Friday.

Please note that applicants will have to face an admission test and an interview to get selected for a limited intake of best qualified individuals. Application form and instructions can be obtained either by sending a self-stamped envelope or can be downloaded from www.univotec.ac.lk
Those employed should forward their applications through their respective employers, incomplete applications will be rejected.
Please send completed applications to the address given below. indicate clearly the desired degree programme applied for on the top left corner of the envelope. Please enclosure, along with the application, the deposit slip of application processing fee of Rs. 500/= which may be obtained from any Bank of Ceylon Branch to the credit of University Vocational Technology, Account Number 0070308457,Bank of Ceylon, Rathmalana Branch. For B.Tech degree deposit code number is 3014-BTECH

sir i am currently studying at General sir John kotelawala defence University doing Bsc management and technical sciences as an Officer Cadet.so will i be able joined as a new candidate to Univotec being a degree holder equivalent to NVQ 6?
